Bohemian Rhapsody - July 14th 2012- Eastbourne
Tonight after a long wait we finally managed to see Victoria in her current show Bohemian Rhapsody at The Congress Theatre in Eastbourne. We entered a large auditorium which housed a buzzing atmosphere of people eager for the show to start. We found our seats and settled down eager to watch the show.
Showcasing the songs of Freddie Mercury and Queen through a ridiculousy talented cast of performers including Johnathan Ansell, Lucinda Shaw, Rachel Wooding and of course Victoria to mention but a few. All dressed to impress in flamboyant costumes of varying genres, from hard grungy rock to edgy wedding wear during the finale.
Victoria dedicated one of her first songs "You're my best Friend" to us which was very sweet and shows how much she appreciates her fans and how much it means to her that each and everyone of you support her in what she does best!
Highlights of the evening included Victoria's raunchy rendition of "killer queen", proving to all that she would make an excellent killer queen in the west end. Followed by Rachel woodings "it's a kind of magic".
All together this was a very fun, lively and loud show with a lot of energy in the cast of dancers and singers. A visual and audio spectacular of costumes and an extremely talented live band.
Victoria of course gave her all to the show, showing off her amazing vocal talents and pairing them with some wonderfully comic faces. Every song she sang had emotion and feeling to it resulting in her getting a big round of applause after each song. She sang "who wants to live forever" with Johathan Ansell it was powerful and evocative and their voices blended well together with nice harmonys.
The night ended on a high with everyone up out of their seats, singing and dancing along to Queen classics Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are The Champions and of course We Will Rock You.
Everyone left buzzing and there were many comments from the departing audience on how much they enjoyed the show.
We certainly can't wait to see what is next for the wonderful Victoria.

Hello All!
I thank you kindly once again for being so supportive of me and following this blog
and my personal twitter account. It means alot to be and I'm very grateful for all
your kind encouragement and interest.
Well what's been going down with me lately?
Well as we all know it's been pretty quiet on the Arts front as shows are being pulled
and taken off left right and center due to this Recession and Arts council cuts, which has proved very
dissapointing for not only myself but also so many pals of mine be it in London or
New York ... it's tough for many but we still intend to smile! :)
But on the flipside having not being in a regular show doing 8 shows a week or whatever it also means
that it's made me available for a whole load of other new exciting things which are more new to
me and expanding my experience, knowledge and all round excitement factor!...so this means
I've managed to get myself more infront of the camera as opposed to on a stage and I'm loving
every minute of it!
Some of you may be aware that I shot a series of Commercials for Kindle (the electronic book)
for Amazon and if everything goes according to plan this means I will be the new Kindle girl
which I'm stoked about!... this should be on the box before Christmas if all rides well with the
company and whatnot.
I also shot a Pilot for hopefully a new TV series which could well be in the pipeline!...so
if you believe in God,Budda,Jedi law or other please put in a good word for me as it would
be wonderful if all goes well in that direction :)
I shot a short film about Cannibalism and it's dinning experience also a couple of months back which I enjoyed very much
and once again getting more experience infront of the camera which seems to be suiting me fine
at the mo....I learn't that humans taste delicious on that job!... and also that I lie about eating humans!
I'm still getting my butt down to auditions when I can. Some jobs I'm excepting with joy and other's
turning down purely because I think it wouldn't be such a good career move and hope for something
that will rock my world and fill me with enthusiasm more....so all is well and good.
Rory and myself are good and hope to have secured a new home before Christmas which will be
our first time buy which I'm also very excited about.
My folks Rick & Sue are still barking mad, loving and supportive and the dog is still fine and dandy.
I will update soon when something new and exciting happens, which I hope you
all will be able to join in on,all the fun when thats something exciting does occure....did you understand that?
I barely did but I hope you caught my drift.....All the Love & Giggles in the world...your Pal ......... Vix xxx
